The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lakeville North Panthers (Lakeville, MN) and the host East Ridge Raptors (Woodbury, MN), witnessed Lakeville North's ice hockey team hold off East Ridge by a score of 3-2.

The Panthers (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Shakopee (Shakopee, MN). The Sabers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Shakopee got by Rosemount (Rosemount, MN), 4-2, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raptors battle the Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) in a Suburban East challenge, on Saturday, January 11. East Ridge will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Ponies come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 4-3 league loss to Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN).
