The Union Grove Christian Patriots (Lexington, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Asheboro Hybrid Academy Warriors (Asheboro, NC), 39-20 in Thursday's league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Tabernacle Christian for a bout on Friday, January 10. Union Grove Christian will play a Conquerors team coming off a 59-44 league loss to Triad Baptist Christian Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Conquerors record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, Asheboro Hybrid Academy falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Warriors host New Manna Christian (Marion, NC) to play the Wind in a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. The Wind go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
