In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Simon Gratz Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 46-38 win over the Central Lancers.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carver High School of Engineering & Science (Philadelphia, PA). The come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Carver High School of Engineering & Science defeated Constitution (Philadelphia, PA), 41-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lancers battle the Wissahickon Trojans (Ambler, PA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 18. Central will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 47-38 non-league loss to Council Rock South (Holland, PA).
