Utah High School Basketball - Wayne overwhelms Escalante

The Wayne Badgers basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Escalante Moquis to 29 in the Badgers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Badgers now have a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Rockwell for a non-league game on Saturday, January 11. Wayne will confront a Marshals team coming off a 52-45 non-league win over Green River (Green River, UT). The Marshals record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Escalante falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Moquis travel to Dugway (Dugway, UT) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Friday, January 10. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 0-0.
