The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) and the visiting Leo Lions (Chicago, IL), observed St. Francis's basketball team edge Leo by a margin of 43-40.
The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against DeKalb (DeKalb, IL). The Barbs come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
