The North Stanly Comets basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting North Rowan Cavaliers to 54 in the Comets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Comets now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host South Stanly for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. North Stanly will confront a Rowdy Rebel Bulls team coming off a 47-37 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, North Rowan falls to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 4-5.
