With the triumph, Vermilion Catholic moves its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Carencro (Lafayette, LA) to meet the Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, January 11. The Bears come into the test with a record of 1-8. Carencro lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Beau Chene (Arnaudville, LA)

The Bears now sport a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host Episcopal of Acadiana for a Division IV District 3 test on Monday, January 13. Highland Baptist Christian will meet a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Vermilion Catholic (Abbeville, LA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-3.
