The North Stokes Vikings thwarted the visiting Alleghany Trojans football team by a count of 20-6 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, North Stokes upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Vikings travel to Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC) to encounter the Granite Bears in a 1A West Conference 36 outing on Friday, October 8. The Granite Bears go into the outing with a record of 6-0. Mount Airy won 43-0 in their recent league outing against Starmount (Boonville, NC)
With the loss, Alleghany moves to 1-4 on the season. The Trojans host East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to encounter the Cardinals in a 1A West Conference 36 outing on Friday, October 8. The Cardinals go into the outing with a record of 2-4. East Wilkes lost 34-28 in their recent league outing against South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC)
