In Friday's league game, the Bolivar Central Tigers (Bolivar, TN) football team knocked off the visiting Bolton Wildcats (Arlington, TN), by a score of 41-28.
The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Covington (Covington, TN). The Chargers come into the 3A Region 7 game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Covington was knocked off by Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN), 29-22, in a league game.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Manassas for a non-league game on Friday, October 8. Bolton will battle a Tigers team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Mitchell (Memphis, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 1-6.
