Oklahoma High School Football - Putnam City North drops to Deer Creek

In Friday's league game, the Deer Creek Antlers (Edmond, OK) football team knocked off the host Putnam City North Panthers (Oklahoma City, OK), by a final score of 38-13.

The Antlers (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, OK). The Knights come into the 6A-II District 1 game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Northwest Classen was dropped by Lawton (Lawton, OK), 65-12, in a league game.

The Panthers now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lawton for a 6A-II District 1 game on Friday, October 8. Putnam City North will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 65-12 league win over Northwest Classen (Oklahoma City, OK). The Wolverines record now stands at 2-3.
