Ohio High School Football - Ridgedale crushed by Elgin

In Friday's league game, the Elgin Comets (Marion, OH) football team smashed the host Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH), by a final score of 48-13.

The Comets (2-5) will now prepare for their game against Ridgemont (Mount Victory, OH). The Golden Gophers come into the Northwest Central game with a 1-5 record. In their last game, Ridgemont was trounced by Perry (Lima, OH), 42-0, in a league game.

The Rockets now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Upper Scioto Valley for a Northwest Central game on Friday, October 8. Ridgedale will battle a Rams team coming off a 44-22 league win over Hardin Northern (Dola, OH). The Rams record now stands at 6-1.
