New York High School Football - Riverhead felled by Commack

The Riverhead Blue Waves football team (Riverhead, NY), was knocked off 35-7 in Saturday's league challenge with the host Commack Cougars (Commack, NY)

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Sachem East (Farmingville, NY). The come into the Section 11 Division I challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Sachem East knocked off Bay Shore (Bay Shore, NY), 35-13, in a league challenge.

The Blue Waves now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ward Melville for a Section 11 Division I challenge on Saturday, October 8. Riverhead will meet a Patriots team coming off a 60-26 league win over Sachem North (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 3-1.
