In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Hitchcock Bulldogs football squad scored a close 35-30 victory over the Salado Eagles.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Yoakum Bulldogs (Yoakum, TX) in a 3A-1 Region III District 12 match, on Friday, October 7. Hitchcock will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 42-14 non-league loss to La Vega (Waco, TX).
The Eagles (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Robinson (Robinson, TX). The Rockets enter the 4A-2 Region III District 11 match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Robinson held off Life Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX), 35-28, in a non-league match.
