In Saturday's league match, the host Madison Trojans football squad scored a close 23-22 victory over the Summerfield Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Erie-Mason Eagles (Erie, MI) in a Tri-County match, on Friday, October 7. Madison will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 5-1 record after their 34-14 non-league loss to North Central (Pioneer, OH).
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Sand Creek (Sand Creek, MI). The Aggies enter the Tri-County match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Sand Creek was nudged by Whiteford (Ottawa Lake, MI), 68-6, in a league match.
