In Saturday's league game, the Old Colony RVT Cougars (Rochester, MA) football team knocked off the host Upper Cape Cod RVT Rams (Bourne, MA), by a final score of 30-6.
The Cougars (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Greater New Bedford RVT (New Bedford, MA). The Bears come into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, Greater New Bedford RVT was dropped by Old Rochester Regional (Mattapoisett, MA), 27-0, in a league game.
The Rams now hold a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holbrook for a non-league game on Friday, October 7. Upper Cape Cod RVT will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 44-20 non-league win over Cape Cod RVT (Harwich, MA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
