The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) and the host Kennedy Cougars (Sacramento, CA), saw Chico's volleyball squad beat Kennedy by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Chico upgrades its record to 17-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 22-3. Oak Ridge won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Folsom (Folsom, CA)

The Cougars now own a 6-1 record.
