In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers soccer squad scored a close 8-1 win over the Los Alamos Hilltoppers.
The Chargers (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans go into the non-league battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, St. Pius X nipped Highland (Albuquerque, NM), 10-0, in a league battle.
