In Saturday's non-league contest, the Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), by a margin of 2-0.

With the loss, Metcalfe County moves to 5-13 on the year. The Hornets travel to Male (Louisville, KY) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 1. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a record of 0-0.
