In Saturday's non-league battle, the host George Washington Patriots soccer squad scored a close 1-0 win over the North Olmsted Eagles.
The Patriots (14-0) will now prepare for their battle against Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV). The Flying Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Woodrow Wilson nipped Spring Valley (Huntington, WV), 7-0, in a league battle.
The Eagles (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bay (Bay Village, OH). The Rockets go into the Great Lakes battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Bay nipped Northview (Sylvania, OH), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
