The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) and the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), saw Greenbrier East's soccer squad knock off Point Pleasant by a margin of 4-2.

The Spartans now sport a 13-1 record. They play next when they travel to Charleston Catholic for a non-league test on Thursday, October 6. Greenbrier East will meet a Irish squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Fairmont Senior (Fairmont, WV). The Irish record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Point Pleasant drops to 11-2 on the season. The Big blacks host Marietta (Marietta, OH) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 4. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 8-2. Marietta won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Alexander (Albany, OH)
