New York High School Soccer - O'Neill nudges Minisink Valley

O'Neill Raiders (Highland Falls, NY) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Minisink Valley Warriors (Slate Hill, NY), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders confront the Chester Hambletonians (Chester, NY) in a Section 9 Division V challenge, on Friday, October 7. O'Neill will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Hambletonians enter the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Liberty (Liberty, NY).
The Warriors now possess a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monticello for a Section 9 Division III challenge on Monday, October 3. Minisink Valley will confront a Panthers team coming off a 4-2 league win over Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-6.
