Schenck Wolverines (East Millinocket, ME) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Penquis Valley Patriots (Milo, ME), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Schenck will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Pandas enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 9-3 non-league loss to Washington Academy (East Machias, ME).

The Patriots now possess a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dexter for a Class C - North challenge on Thursday, October 6.
