Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Parkview Panthers (Lilburn, GA), 4-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Grizzlies now own a 15-3 record. They take the field next when they host Sequoyah for a 6A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, October 4. Creekview will face a Chiefs squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Etowah (Woodstock, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 15-6.

With the loss, Parkview falls to 16-9 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Newton (Covington, GA) to face the Rams in a 7A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, October 4. The Rams come into the game with a record of 3-16. Newton lost 14-10 in their recent league game against Grayson (Loganville, GA)
