South Forsyth War Eagles (Cumming, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Ola Mustangs (McDonough, GA), 16-5 in a non-league challenge.

The War Eagles now own a 17-6 record. They take the field next when they host West Forsyth for a 7A Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, October 4. South Forsyth will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to Milton (Milton, GA). The Wolverines record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, Ola falls to 13-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Loganville (Loganville, GA) to face the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 1. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 18-5. Loganville won 5-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy (McDonough, GA)
