The Albany Cougars topped the visiting Holy Names Monarchs volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 14-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Head-Royce for a non-league test on Saturday, October 1. Albany will confront a Jayhawks team coming off a 3-0 league win over Redwood Christian (San Lorenzo, CA). The Jayhawks record now stands at 19-5.
The Monarchs (6-3) will now prepare for their test against California School for the Deaf (Fremont, CA). The Eagles enter the Bay Counties - General test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, California School for the Deaf gained a win over Fremont Christian (Fremont, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
