The Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA) volleyball overcame the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), 3-0 in Saturday's league battle.
The Panthers (11-1) will now prepare for their battle against Brooke Point (Stafford, VA). The Black Hawks come into the Commonwealth battle with a 1-7 record.
Next, the Patriots clash with the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a Jefferson battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Albemarle will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Flying Flucos come into the battle with a 13-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA).
