The Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) volleyball tipped the visiting Trinity Blazers (River Forest, IL), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Andrew upgrades its record to 10-14 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to confront the Knights in a SouthWest Suburban test on Tuesday, October 4. The Knights enter the test with a record of 15-5. Lincoln-Way Central lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL)
The Blazers (7-16) will now prepare for their test against St. Laurence (Burbank, IL). The Vikings enter the Girls Catholic (GCAC) test with a 18-6 record. In their last test, St. Laurence held off Stagg (Palos Hills, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
