Ohio High School Volleyball - Avon Lake over Coventry

October 1, 2022: Akron, OH 44319

In Saturday's non-league contest, the Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) volleyball squad were winner over the host Coventry Comets (Akron, OH), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Shoremen face the Chardon Hilltoppers (Chardon, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 1. Avon Lake will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Hilltoppers go into the contest with a 14-1 record after their 3-0 league win over North (Eastlake, OH).

With the loss, Coventry moves to 11-4 on the year. The Comets travel to Holy Name (Parma Heights, OH) to face the Green Wave in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 1. The Green Wave go into the contest with a record of 12-3. Holy Name won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Normandy (Parma, OH)
