Ohio High School Volleyball - Bay over Roosevelt

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bay Rockets (Bay Village, OH) and the host Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH), saw Bay's volleyball squad beat Roosevelt by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Bay upgrades its record to 17-3 on the year. The Rockets host Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH) to play the Panthers in a Great Lakes bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-8. Elyria Catholic won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Ridge Academy (North Ridgeville, OH)

The Rough Riders now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Aurora for a Suburban-American bout on Tuesday, October 4. Roosevelt will play a Greenmen squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH). The Greenmen record now stands at 11-6.
