The Benjamin Mustangs topped the visiting De Leon Bearcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Mustangs now have a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Paducah for a 1A Region II District 9 test on Tuesday, October 4. Benjamin will confront a Dragons team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Aspermont (Aspermont, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 7-11.
The Bearcats (4-9) will now prepare for their test against Clyde (Clyde, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league test with a 22-14 record. In their last test, Clyde gained a win over San Angelo Texas Leadership Charter Academy (San Angelo, TX), 3-0, in a league test.
