The St. James Academy Thunder volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host De Soto Wildcats to 0 in the Thunder non-league victory on Saturday.

The Thunder now have a 21-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blue Valley Northwest for a non-league game on Saturday, October 1. St. James Academy will meet a Huskies team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Blue Valley North (Overland Park, KS). The Huskies record now stands at 14-7.

The Wildcats (5-14) will now prepare for their game against Heritage Christian Academy (Olathe, KS). The Chargers enter the non-league game with a 17-5 record. In their last game, Heritage Christian Academy gained a win over Cair Paravel (Topeka, KS), 3-0, in a league game.
