With the win, Hamilton County upgrades its record to 16-4 on the year. The Foxes host Woodlawn (Woodlawn, IL) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Monday, October 3. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Woodlawn won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Grayville (Grayville, IL)

The Wildcats now own a 18-7 record. They play next when they travel to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. Marion will play a Fighting Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Gallatin County (Junction, IL). The Fighting Cardinals record now stands at 20-0.
