The Haynes Academy volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Westminster Academy Crusaders to 1 in the non-league victory on Saturday.
The now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy for a Division IV District 6 game on Tuesday, October 4. Haynes Academy will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Belle Chasse (Belle Chasse, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-2.
The Crusaders (19-4) will now prepare for their game against Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Parkview Baptist nipped Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA), 2-1, in a non-league game.
