Minnesota High School Volleyball - Irondale over Mahtomedi

Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Knights clash with the Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, October 1. Irondale will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record. The Stars come into the match with a 9-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN).

With the loss, Mahtomedi drops to 17-3 on the campaign. The Zephyrs travel to Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league match on Saturday, October 1. The Wildcats come into the match with a record of 5-11. Chisago Lakes Area lost 3-1 in their recent league match against St. Francis (St. Francis, MN)
