Kentucky High School Volleyball - Sacred Heart tips Los Alamitos

The Sacred Heart Valkyries (Louisville, KY) volleyball nudged the visiting Los Alamitos Griffins (Los Alamitos, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Sacred Heart betters its record to 14-16 on the year. The Valkyries travel to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Gaels in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 1. The Gaels go into the outing with a record of 15-9. Bishop Gorman lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ)

The Griffins now sport a 22-12 record. They play next when they host Newport Harbor for a Sunset - Surf outing on Tuesday, October 4. Los Alamitos will face a Sailors squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA). The Sailors record now stands at 16-5.
