The Royal Oak Ravens (Royal Oak, MI) volleyball nudged the visiting Lutheran North Mustangs (Macomb, MI), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Royal Oak betters its record to 3-7 on the year. The Ravens travel to Athens (Troy, MI) to face the Red Hawks in a Oakland - White outing on Tuesday, October 4. The Red Hawks go into the outing with a record of 13-9. Athens lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Berkley (Berkley, MI)

The Mustangs now sport a 18-9 record. They play next when they travel to Regina for a Catholic - AA outing on Wednesday, October 5. Lutheran North will face a squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI). The record now stands at 16-7.
