Ohio High School Volleyball - Perry over Roosevelt

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Perry Pirates (Perry, OH) and the host Roosevelt Rough Riders (Kent, OH), saw Perry's volleyball squad beat Roosevelt by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Perry upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Pirates travel to Twinsburg (Twinsburg, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 13-2. Twinsburg won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Nordonia (Macedonia, OH)

The Rough Riders now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Bay for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 1. Roosevelt will play a Rockets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Westlake (Westlake, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 13-3.
