In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Providence Catholic Celtics volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Trinity Blazers.
The Celtics (14-11) will now prepare for their battle against De La Salle (Chicago, IL). The Meteors come into the non-league battle with a 21-4 record. In their last battle, De La Salle achieved victory over Shepard (Palos Heights, IL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Blazers clash with the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 1. Trinity will attempt to advance on its 7-15 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the battle with a 8-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).
