The Riley County Falcons volleyball squad (Riley, KS), was outscored 2-0 in Saturday's non-league bout with the visiting Smith Center Redmen (Smith Center, KS)

With the win, Smith Center upgrades its record to 26-2 on the year. The Redmen host Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, October 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Bruning-Davenport/Shickley won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Blue Hill (Blue Hill, NE)

The Falcons now own a 5-24 record. They play next when they host Rock Creek for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. Riley County will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Wabaunsee (Alma, KS). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-7.
