In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting San Leandro Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Swett Warriors.

The Pirates (7-13) will now prepare for their battle against Encinal (Alameda, CA). The Jets come into the non-league battle with a 2-15 record. In their last battle, Encinal lost by Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Warriors encounter the De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA) in a Tri-County battle, on Monday, October 3. Swett will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Dons come into the battle with a 11-11 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Summit K2 (El Cerrito, CA).
