The Waverly/South Shore Coyotes volleyball team (Waverly, SD), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Timber Lake Panthers (Timber Lake, SD)

The Panthers (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD). The Battlers enter the non-league challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] was dropped by Sully Buttes (Onida, SD), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Coyotes meet the Florence/Henry Flyers (Florence, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 1. Waverly/South Shore will attempt to move on its 1-17 season record. The Flyers come into the battle with a 15-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD).
