St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Bishop Ireton Cardinals (Alexandria, VA), 2-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, St. John's moves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Cadets host The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD) to clash with the Tartans in a Washington Catholic test on Thursday, October 3. The Tartans come into the test with a record of 1-0. The Academy of the Holy Cross won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against School Without Walls (Washington, DC)

The Cardinals now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop McNamara for a Washington Catholic test on Tuesday, October 8. Bishop Ireton will clash with a Mustangs team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-5.
