Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Sultan Turks (Sultan, WA), 5-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Granite Falls moves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Overlake (Redmond, WA) to meet the Owls in a 1A Emerald Sound test on Tuesday, October 8. The Owls come into the test with a record of 4-5.

The Turks now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Whidbey for a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. Sultan will meet a Falcons team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-4.
