The Stowe Raiders soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Thetford Academy Panthers to 1 in the Raiders league victory on Tuesday.

The Raiders now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Montpelier for a Capital bout on Monday, October 7. Stowe will play a Solons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT). The Solons record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Thetford Academy moves to 2-6 on the year. The Panthers host Peoples Academy (Morrisville, VT) to play the Wolves in a Capital bout on Monday, October 7. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Peoples Academy lost 1-0 in their recent league bout against U-32 (Montpelier, VT)
