South Laurel Cardinals (London, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Whitley County Colonels (Williamsburg, KY), 6-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Laurel advances its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY) to clash with the Maroons in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 5-2. Pulaski County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Danville (Danville, KY)

The Colonels now have a 0-5 record.
