In Tuesday's non-league outing, the host Lexington Christian Eagles soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Anderson County Bearcats.
The Eagles (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY). The Golden Lions go into the non-league outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Garrard County was edged by Marion County (Lebanon, KY), 4-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Bearcats confront the Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, October 3. Anderson County will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Generals go into the outing with a 5-9 record after their 1-0 non-league win over John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY).
