The Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Apollo Eagles to 0 in the Maroons non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Maroons now hold a 13-6 record. They play next when they host North Hardin for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 3. Madisonville-North Hopkins will play a Trojans squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 7-15.
With the loss, Apollo moves to 7-8 on the year.
