Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI) and the host Avondale Yellowjackets (Auburn Hills, MI), saw Lake Orion's soccer squad triumph over Avondale by a count of 7-0.
The Dragons (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against Adams (Rochester, MI). The Highlanders enter the Oakland - Red battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Adams tipped Berkley (Berkley, MI), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Yellowjackets battle the Pontiac Phoenix (Pontiac, MI) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 3. Avondale will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Phoenix enter the battle with a 6-6 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI).
