Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Capital City Cavaliers (Jefferson City, MO) and the host Marshall Owls (Marshall, MO), saw Capital City's soccer squad prevail over Marshall by a count of 4-0.

The Cavaliers (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 10-2 record. In their last battle, Logan-Rogersville by Branson (Branson, MO), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Owls battle the Moberly Spartans (Moberly, MO) in a North Central Missouri battle, on Thursday, October 3. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 8-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Fulton (Fulton, MO).
