The Talawanda Brave soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Franklin County Wildcats to 2 in the Brave non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Brave now hold a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Northwest for a Southwest Ohio bout on Thursday, October 3. Talawanda will play a Knights squad coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Winton Woods (Cincinnati, OH). The Knights record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Franklin County moves to 4-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Madison (Madison, IN) to play the Cubs in a non-league bout on Monday, October 7. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 11-3. Madison won 5-2 in their recent non-league bout against Rock Creek Academy (Sellersburg, IN)
